Why Attend ARCCA 2026: The Accra Summit?

2026 Theme
“Reimagining African Architecture: Identity, Innovation, and Sustainability”

On 28–30 October 2026, the inaugural ARCCA 2026: The Accra Summit arrives at Central University, Ghana, bringing together 1,200+ delegates, students, and built-environment leaders under the theme Reimagining African Architecture: Identity, Innovation & Sustainability. This three-day summit and inter-university competition is designed for architects, urban planners, academics, and the next generation of African designers.

With 45+ speakers, 5 competition categories, and dedicated workshops, the summit delivers critical discourse on African urbanism, climate-responsive design, and cultural identity in architecture. At the heart of the event is the ARCCA Challenge — a live inter-university competition featuring teams from across Africa presenting bold architectural visions to a distinguished jury.
